The preschool children are often building castles with the wooden blocks and role playing which lead to many castle themed activities to inspire them to continue their interest.
- We read " Jack and the Beanstalk" where Jack Climbs the Beanstalk to find a CASTLE in the sky.
- We talked about who lives in a castle ( King, Princess) , the parts of a castle ( Tower, moat, drawbridge) and the different shapes we see in a castle. ( 2D and 3D Shape vocabulary)
- Children engaged in conversation, play and demonstrated problem solving and working together as they built many castles.
