When it was time for me to go back to work and to decide on a child care provider for our son, we were disappointed with the options available. And while my husband and I preferred the Home Care model for many reasons, we not only considered the big (and scary) daycare centres, but even in how to extend my maternity leave, despite the financial strains, as we were just not comfortable leaving our child in the care of any of the places we had looked at. Thankfully, we found Kam's Home Care; a perfect union of both the bigger, more academically driven centres and the smaller sized cozier home care. When we went for our first visit at Kam's Care we were so happy to meet Kamilla and see what a professional space she operates. She struck us as a responsible, passionate and gifted ECE and taught us so much about how a daycare should operate. Our son was only 11.5 months old when I went back to work and I felt very emotional about this tough transition. Kamilla helped with many solutions to help make this easier for all of us; gradual visits to the daycare, strategies for easier drop-offs in the morning, pictures and updates via text so I could see that he was happy and enjoying himself which made me feel less guilty about being away from him.
Every day we feel so lucky to have found Kam's Home Care and feel so good about the care that he is getting there. She provides four home-made, nutritional meals daily which continues to foster his love for vegetables, fruits and healthy eating. She prepares educational and engaging activities for the children to do and implements consistency in routines as you would see in a school. She celebrates milestones and accomplishments with each child, and cares for them as if they were her own. In the 8 months our son has been at Kam's Home Care, his vocabulary has taken off, his understanding and development have bloomed, and each day we are impressed by what else he has learned. She sends home books that he enjoys reading and personalizes the learning to engage his interests. Every day there is something in the backpack that he has created in one of her many hands-on activities. They do yoga and get fresh air and exercise in her safe outdoor space.
It's very evident how much passion and pride Kamilla puts into her profession; she keeps up with professional development and takes various courses each month - she even shares the content with us for our own learning.

My daughter is 3 years old and has been attending Kams Home daycare for a few months now. Miss Kamilla is exceptional; she is so caring and takes the time to get to know every child and find the best way to help them be better every day, to make them feel safe and happy if they feel sad. They make crafts, paint, draw, discover new things, sing, dance, play outside. The place is always organized, clean and full of things for the kids to play and learn, and have fun. The food is always healthy, homemade and "delicious" as my daughter says.
With the background that Miss Kamilla has, my child has learned so many things getting her ready for JK and I have to thank Miss Kamilla for that. My daughter has so much fun going there that she wants to go even on the weekends. Miss Kamilla is outstanding caregiver, professional, organized, creative and loving. I would recommend Miss Kamilla any day and to anyone who is looking for more than just a daycare, but a place where your children can grow and learn in a very, very fun, loving and healthy environment

I cannot speak highly enough of Kamilla who took care of my toddler.
We attended the daycare for 7 months and she is a Blessing.
My son is so active, I was worried about him but she was very patient with him and showed him new fun and exciting ways to learn.
She always kept us up dated on my child's day through daily written reports and sharing many photos.
The daily routine/activities were planned great and the food menu is healthy.
I would 100% recommend Kam's Daycare!

As a newcomer to Canada, the thought of leaving my 12 months old daughter at a daycare in a new country with complete strangers was nerve racking ....but we met Kamilla whose kindness, professionalism , and competence was more than we expected. Our respect and trust in Kamilla grew to the point that when she got transferred to another daycare we followed her there to ensure our second child would benefit from her care as well.
Kamilla is passionate about quality child care and education and I am glad I had her in my children's life...she is truly awesome!!
